Partnership


The organizations involved in the project are the following:


  • Asociación Edad Dorada Mensajeros de la Paz C-LM y Galicia. Spain. The Association is an important Spanish NGO created in 1962 to help disadvantaged groups through humanitarian attention, support, rehabilitation, treatment and social promotion. They assume the role of the coordinating organisation of the AppForDem project, with responsibility for monitoring the implementation of the quality management plan.

 

  • Asociatia Habilitas - Centru de Resurse si Formare Profesionala. Romania. Association for the development and improvement of adult education. They are involved in INPEA, International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse. In the AppForDem project, they are in charge of monitoring the impact of the project according to qualitative and quantitative indicators.


  • SOSU Oestjylland is the second largest social and health care college in Denmark. They provide different educational programs for social and health care institutions for elderly and disabled people and for hospitals and psychiatry. In the AppForDem project, they are in charge of monitoring the dissemination activities of the project.


  • Anziani e non solo - ANS (Italy)  is a NGO working since 2004 in the field of social innovation, with a specific focus on management of projects and realization of services and products in the field of welfare and social inclusion. In the AppForDem project, they are in charge of supervising the quality aspects of the project activities: procedures, processes.


Distribution of tasks

According to the project managment plan, the distribution of tasks to develop the project activities was as follows:


IO1. METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE EDUCATIONAL APP .

  • SOSU together with Mensajeros proposed a methodology for creating a training CV that makes possible the transference of innovation from app and e-learning courses. All partners have participated in the development of the training CV, through the different activities planned for this intellectual output. Each partner organized a group of experts to validate the results of the first phase of the project.


O2 DEVELOPMENT OF CONTENT AND MATERIALS FOR THE EDUCATIONAL APP DEMENTIA AND DAILY LIVING

  • ANS together with Mensajeros defined a methodology to develop learning content based on the results of the IO1. All partners have participated in the development of the learning content for the app and the e-learning course, through different activities planned for this intellectual output in the original application form and described in the document of guidelines. Each partner organized two workshops with experts to develop and to evaluate de learning content of the educational app and the e-learning course.


IO3 TESTING A PILOT EDUCATIONAL APP FOR CARE STAFF OF PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA

  •  A set of criteria was defined for testing the educational app. Each partner has organized two workshops with 10 participants for piloting the app “Dementia and daily living”. A national report and comparative reports were drafted and are available at the dissemination project website. The app is available for free in Google Play Store (Android) as well as Apple Store (iOS).


IO4 TESTING THE PILOT E-LEARNING COURSE: SPEZIALIZED CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA

  • The partners organized a pilot e-learning course with 10 hours of duration. The pilot course was aimed at testing the open educational resources developed in IO2. The partners implemented an evaluation tool considered different approaches: pedagogic, technological and sectorial. ANS, HABILITAS AND MENSAJEROS tested the pilot e-learning course with 10 participants (trainers, care-staff, and professionals). SOSU collected the opinion of dementia experts on the results of this experience. The e-learning course is available on the e-learning platform https://ed-formacion.org
